Jonathan is a proud native North Carolinian who has spent over a decade working as an attorney for local and state government entities – with a primary focus in public school (K-12) law and an emphasis on special education, Section 504, and civil rights issues. He has represented multiple school boards in different parts of the State.
Specifically, Jonathan worked as general counsel for the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction and prior to that, served as legal counsel for Rep. Tim Moore, the Speaker of the North Carolina House of Representatives.
He has expanded his practice to include alternative dispute resolution, estate planning, traffic law, and retrieval of delinquent rent-to-own properties for companies whose customers consistently fail to pay.
Jonathan is licensed to practice law in the State of North Carolina and the Commonwealth of Virginia.
